Our client is a unique technology company who are currently looking for a PR Assistant to join their team.

You will be working for a fun but hardworking team that values creativity and personal initiative. The company has a friendly and inclusive culture that rewards results. The successful applicant will be responsible for delivering several key internal and external communications duties. Reporting to the head of marketing/corporate communications, this individual will be an integral support to a fast-paced, dynamic team.

We are particularly interested in candidates with languages: French and/or German language skills are preferred.

Primary Objectives

• Daily news scans of international and IT trade / enviro media
• Researching key trends and proactively seeking out daily contributions for the corporate Twitter feed
• Monitoring key blogs and liaison with corporate bloggers, ensuring that our blog is always ‘fresh’
• Ensuring that the Media Center on the website is always up-to-date with releases and articles
• Collating updates for internal monthly newsletters
• Communication with the internal team each time we make an announcement

Additional Objectives

• Keeping the Facebook and Forum communities up-to-date
• Keeping a tracker of upcoming analyst research notes and setting up briefings as appropriate, to ensure that the company features in relevant reports
• Weekly analyst relations scans for new industry reports
• Support presence at trade shows with the creation of press packs

We are looking for an established Account Director / Senior Publicist with a solid entertainment background to work for a premier entertainment company!

The press and publicity team are responsible for developing and managing campaigns which focus on talent, television, products as well as some trade covering distribution.

From events and tours, to press office duties and online opportunities they deliver across all mediums of PR for their clients.

In addition to a solid entertainment background, we’re also particularly interested in candidates with strong knowledge and contacts in women’s press. As well as general entertainment publicity our client is looking for someone who is also able to target women’s consumer press.

The role:

Dealing with a broad range of entertainment clients, you will command respect and have a reputation for being professional at all times.

You will play an active role in the training and development of the Press & Publicity Assistant/ junior colleagues, allocating appropriate tasks to them, managing their workload and helping them solve day to day problems.

You will organise and oversee brainstorms and help manage campaigns from beginning to end.

You will be:

A confident and credible publicist, able to discuss issues relating to campaign execution with your clients.

The ideal candidate must have previous entertainment PR experience gained to Senior Account Manager / Account Director level.

Previous experience managing campaigns targeting womens consumer press / media will be a distinct advantage.

Knowledgeable of all relevant communications disciplines in publicity/media and able to execute projects across a variety of client accounts.

A confident and capable writer, with strong press release experience.

We are looking for a social media and digital PR to work with the web team to update client websites, manage social media channels, and send emails to client mailing lists. Lyris experience would be a bonus.

In addition, working with the press team the Online Assistant will be responsible for building connections with relevant digital contacts - aiming to build the client profile in digital spaces. This will include social networks, blogs, forums and entertainment websites as well as developing new media forms.

The ideal candidate will have:
 Experience using a range of content management systems.
 An understanding of HTML coding.
 Experience editing images using programmes such as Adobe Photoshop.
 An understanding of social media principles.
 Experience working in online PR.
 Ability to work across a range of projects at any given time and prioritise workload accordingly.
