Technical Services Co-ordinator

Role Summary:

Our client is an internationally renowned Producer and distributor of Film and TV content.

They are now seeking a Co-ordinator with excellent technical ability and communication skillls to ensure the timely distribution of broadcast materials, ensuring they are delivered cost effectively, within specification and to deadline.

The ideal candidate for this role will be able to demonstrate an excellent level of customer care and relationship management, with an equally high level of technical ability and expertise.

Experience of co-ordinating distribution lines on an international scale will be a distinct advantage, as will a knowledge of Zeus, Smartjog, digidelivery and SAP.

Key accountabilities for this role will include:

•Field and review all distribution requests and ascertain technical specifications, cost and order of priority
•Identify and execute the most timely and highest quality technical solution for the client, drawing on expertise with post production formats, and delivery methods
•Oversee and co-ordinate the whole remastering and technical servicing process ensuring an excellent level of client servicing
•Manage the purchase ordering and shipping request system in SAP and Zeus
•Remain abreast of status of all projects, and instigate and run systems which will support long term project servicing
•Liaise regularly between clients and sales to comprehend and communicate technical requirements, servicing needs and transmission schedules
•Work effectively with the Technical Manager and clients to manage the test file delivery service and forecast likely costs
•Demonstrate a high level of technical management ability to ensure accurate processing of mastering, dubbing, translations and subtitles
•Liaise with appropriate departments to resolve material rejections and co-ordinate remedial repair work
•Accurate management of the technical materials in inventory, and process accordingly: Purge, promote/demote
•Manage technical reporting and diagnostics via Cognos or similar system
•Ensure smooth invoicing process, via the SAP system
•Find and distribute metadata as required.

Candidate Profile:

The ideal candidate for this role will ideally possess a sound understanding of high definition technology, along with a knowledge of electronic file delivery systems, be highly organised, detail oriented, with an ability to instigate, run and maintain efficient systems which will support numerous workflow lines to their best advantage.
