Senior Research Executive
Our client is a leading global creator of animation, entertainment, branded news, not just on television, but a variety of consumer platforms. They are also an employer of around 11,000 people worldwide.
The purpose is this role will be to deliver insight for the whole portfolio of channels, including kids. They are looking for an analytical, technologically savvy individual, preferably from a digital media background, who is fully aware of the impact of current trends within the media industry.
The role will be positioned within the Research team and plays a vital role in supporting key divisions such as social media, consumer engagement and product development, to drive revenue for the full portfolio of digital assets. The role will also form a vital point of insight for the Promotions, distribution, business development, Marketing and Ad sales departments, to ultimately inform direction and strategy.
Key responsibilities include: the delivery of performance analysis on all digital output, using a variety of digital insight tools.
To gain an understanding of consumer behaviour, trends and preferences, in order to deliver an excellent service back to the consumer
To assess the effectiveness of the range of digital properties, in order to spot revenue opportunities
To be at the cutting edge of new developments through a range of intelligence services and trade press.
To drive the consumer insight model by the design analysis and evaluation of engagement strategies
To be the key point of contact for the counterpart European research team, ensuring the standardisation of web analytics guidelines, and manage all pan-European consumer survey findings.
The successful candidate will possess excellent numeracy skills, with a fine attention to detail. They will need to demonstrate qualitative and quantitative research experience, desirably within the digital media environment. (S)he will also be an expert user of digital insight tools, and producing insight which will shape long term strategy. Direct experience with SNAP and Omniture will be a distinct advantage.
