A market leading media organisation is looking for a progressive and ambitious Management Accountant for a new permanent role in their Central London offices.

The ideal candidate will be in the later stages of ACCA/CIMA (or equivalent) and will have exceptional systems skills, preferably having “Super User” status on at least one well known Finance package.

Working within a small team & liaising heavily with various cost centre managers and internal analysts, you will assist with the production of both annual and quarterly budgets and reports as well as being heavily involved in several key operational areas within Finance.

Duties to include:

•Working with individual cost centres to produce annual/quarterly budgets
•Month end accounting
•Variance analysis against budgets
•Preparing group KPI packs
•Developing Finance systems and training other users to intermediate/advanced levels
•Streamlining existing processes to improve accuracy and productivity
•Budget system cycle maintenance & developing system reporting capabilities
•Ad hoc support across the Finance department

Key Competencies:

•Considerable work experience within a busy Finance environment – Essential
•Experience of budgets, forecasts & month end accounting – Essential
•Relevant degree level education at 2:1 or higher (or equivalent) – Essential
•A drive and willingness to succeed, as well as a progressive and consistent work history – Highly Advantageous
•Final level Part Qualified CIMA/ACCA (or equivalent) – Highly desirable
•First class systems/IT skills including Super User certification on at least one Finance package – Highly Desirable
•Excellent communication skills and the ability to build relationships at all level s of a company – Essential
•Advanced Level Microsoft Excel skills (Pivot tables/V-Lookups/Macros) – Essential

Package: £30k-£34k (dependant on experience)
