A prestigious publishing house is looking for an entry level Financial Analyst to join their team.
You will either be a recent graduate or will have work experience within a Finance team and will be based in their Central London head office. Reporting in to the Finance Manager, the role will be fast-paced, progressive and varied, being ideally suited to someone who is progressive, bright and professional with a strong work ethic.
Study Support may be offered for CIMA or ACCA to the successful candidate.
Duties to include:
•Assisting with forecasts, budgets and monthly reporting for various UK cost centres
•Tracking & recording group sales
•Capital & revenue control
•Processing retrospective discount accruals
•Petty cash control and reconciliation
•Assisting with compilation of monthly KPI pack for the board
•Other ad hoc Finance & Analysis work as required
Key Competencies:
•2:1 or above Degree level education (or equivalent) in a relevant subject area – Essential
•Strong A-Level results (or equivalent) – Desirable
•A progressive, dedicated attitude to work & keen sense of personal development – Desirable
•Advanced level Excel skills (V-Lookups, SumIF, Pivot Tables) – Highly Advantageous
•A passion for the publishing industry and a desire to study and progress – Desirable
In order to succeed in this role you will need to be passionate, hard-working and be able to demonstrate that you want a career in Finance. You will be able to learn quickly and work autonomously, as well as being able to think on your feet and take on extra responsibility where necessary.
