Our client is a global player in the world of technology/engineering.

At present, they are looking for a heavy-weight Director of Media Relations to lead on their UK strategy.

We’re looking for an established candidate with strong influencing skills and senior level media relationships.

You will act as guardian of the corporate brand, providing top-level UK strategy, coherence and consistency of message to the companies engagement with the press.

The priority is to promote and protect the reputation of the UK business, and support the major campaigns, bids and programmes.

In order to be considered for the role you will need:

• Previous experience of media relations in corporate environment
• Ability to provide consistency of message across whole business, ensuring awareness of all key issues / lines / messages
• Ability to maintain relationships at right level with wide range of media stakeholders and with senior management, while juggling many priorities / deadlines etc
