Our client is a global organisation operating within the engineering/technology space. At present they are looking to recruit an established Director of Marketing Communications & EComms.

Reporting to the VP Communications, you will be responsible for managing strategy and implementation of various communications channels and assets such as Sonsorship, Site Branding, Multimedia, Online and Advertising.

Along with developing a strategy for e-communications (online marketing, social media, intranet & internet) you will also establish measurement methodology for effectiveness of online strategies and platforms. You will also:

• Provide continuous quality and process improvement to ensure effective and consistent delivery of communications across the function
• Ensure brand message and appearance are accurately reflected across platforms to reinforce strategy.
• Manage a wide range of 3rd party suppliers

For you to be successful within the role you will have:

• Excellent project management skills. Ability to plan, prioritise and execute multiple projects and responsibilities as well as managing direct and indirect resources (people and budget), ensuring the planning and delivery of comms activities to time and budget
• Knowledge of online tactics and programme measurement methodologies.
• Operational management skills and ability to ensure quality, timely, compliance delivery.
• Knowledge of technology, emerging media and the Internet.
• Proven creative and innovative ability.
• Ability to interface effectively with senior management and other business partners and working effectively across functions and levels.
• Good understanding of all aspects of internal, external and stakeholder communications, highly motivated and able to operate without supervision
