A fast-moving global media giant is looking for a Credit Control Manager to join their busy London based accounts team.

The role is would suit an experience Credit Control Manager with some exposure to the media industry, who has supervisory skills and a superb technical knowledge of collections and debt recovery

The role is available on a permanent basis and comes with a competitive salary and solid benefits package for the successful candidate .

Duties to include:

•Day-to-day management of a team of 8 credit controllers Reviewing & amending company’s credit policy on a regular basis
•Suggesting policy changes to the board
•Ensuring that bad debt levels stay within budget
•Coordinating collections processes across all aged debt
•Circulating the details of problematic accounts and applying relevant security processes where necessary
•Liaising with sales department to establish new account limits and discuss client accounts
•Staff review, appraisal and recruitment
•Other ad hoc duties as required

Key Competencies:

•A background working in Credit Control at a Manager level – Essential
•Experience supervising a small to medium team – Essential
•ICM Qualified (or equivalent) – Desirable
•First rate communication skills, both written and verbal – Essential
•Great IT & systems skills (including Excel) – Essential
•Ability to Report to board level – Essential
•A keen eye for detail, thorough approach and problem solving skills – Advantageous

Reporting to: Financial Controller

Direct Reports: 8

Package: circa £40k-£45k (dependant on experience)
