A global market leader within the Post Production industry is looking for a Commercial Planning Analyst For a new permanent position based in Central London.

Duties to include:

• Providing analysis, quantitative data and project management support for EMEA film operations
• Supporting contracts & bids, reviewing profitability/pricing & managing any disputes or legal issues
• Daily reporting on contracts and agreements with major film suppliers
• Managing the royalties process for key business areas
• Assisting with the development of commercial processes and workflows top streamline operations and ensure maximum productivity
• Supporting the daily reporting function for all major film clients via the timely production of reports and collation of data
• Regular competition analysis to establish market position and identify opportunities & threats
• Managing the royalties database
• Providing support & information to the finance team as necessary
• Ad hoc project work as required

Key Competencies:

• A strong background in Finance including senior level analysis, cost accounting & budgeting – Essential
• Experience working within the media or film industry – Advantageous
• A recognised Business degree, preferably coupled with an MBA (or equivalent) – Advantageous
• A great eye for detail and an analytical mind – Essential
• Excellent computer literacy skills, preferably including SAP & Business Objects experience – Desirable
• Advanced level Excel skills (V-Lookups, Pivot Tables & Macros) – Essential
• The ability to work under your own initiative and to tight deadlines – Required
• Experience in process improvement & business optimization – Desirable
• Excellent presentation skills – Essential
• Ability to communicate across all levels of an organisation and to communicate complex financial info to non-financial employees – Essential

Package: £50,000 -£70,000 (dependant on experience))
