A prestigious publishing brand is looking for a Commercial Manager to join their team on permanent basis. The role is based in Central London and would suit an experienced Accountant with commercial acumen, polished analytical skills and project management experience.

Duties to include:

•Working on various senior level Finance & Analytical projects simultaneously
•Liaising with various internal & external stakeholders to capture data
•Using various traditional and digital research tools to assist with analysis projects
•Control of the company’s digital rights program
•Developing internal processes and workflows to support colleagues
•Regularly reporting to board level using Microsoft Powerpoint
•Managing one Finance Assistant
•Other ad hoc duties as required

Key Competencies:

•Exposure to working within a creative media environment – Essential
•A demonstrable background in Finance, FP& A or commercial analysis – Essential
•Working on project based accounting – Desirable
•First rate communication skills, both written and verbal – Essential
•Great IT & systems skills (including advanced Excel) – Essential
•Ability to Report to board level and advanced level Powerpoint sklills – Essential
•A keen eye for detail, an inquisitive, analytical mind and superb problem solving skills – Essential
•A team player with a strong work ethic and the ability to manage multiple workflows at any one time – Essential

Reporting to: Financial Controller

Direct Reports: 1

Package: circa £40k-£50k (dependant on experience)
