Successful recruitment means more than just matching a CV to a job description. It’s about personality too – making sure that the individual will fit perfectly into your company culture.
We take the time to get to know everyone who makes up our ‘virtuous circle’, so that we can make sure we have provided the best possible candidate for your company - and a candidate who is going to be happy and motivated.
Career Moves Group offers two different methods to suit your needs, Contingency Recruitment and Retained Assignments:
Career Moves Group’s approach to contingency recruitment is the most comprehensive in the marketplace. Our focus is on delivery and, by using our unique 4 pronged approach to candidate sourcing, we are extremely well placed to find you the right candidate 1st time. For every contingency assignment, Career Moves Group will use the following methods:
Database Search
In our chosen markets, our candidate database is unrivalled. With access to over 150,000 contacts and over 10,000 active candidates (contacted within the last 6 months), we can offer you unparalleled, immediate access to the very best candidates.
Un-branded Advertising
With a huge spend on advertising, your roles will be represented on over 4 job boards within 24 hours of Career Moves Group accepting the brief and will be represented in the next available trade press as part of our menu advertising. This means that, at no cost to yourself, your role is immediately accessible by all actively looking candidates.
CV Databases/Networking Sites
Career Moves Group pays for access on a multiple license basis, to all the leading CV database & networking websites. All our consultants are fully trained to make sure they are getting the most from these labour intensive sources, saving you time and hassle. Used alongside our other methods, this provides our clients with access to the passive job seeker who may not wish to register with an agency or apply directly to clients but still wants to hear about good opportunities when they come along.
Headhunting
Career Moves Group recognises that often the best candidates out there won’t be actively looking. They will be in a job, happy with their prospects and how they are rewarded. But they might be interested in your particular job role. With our strong network of contacts throughout the HR, PR and Media worlds, Career Moves Group is perfectly placed to headhunt the most relevant individuals (in a discreet and confidential manner) which can add real value to the shortlists we present.
Whilst we believe our contingency offer is second to none, there will be occasions where, for a variety of reasons we believe a retained campaign is the best solution.
We have an incredibly successful track record of working on retained search and selection assignments; however, we won't attempt to tie to you in to a retained campaign when we know a contingency assignment is the best way forward.
We find that a retained campaign is most efficient in the following cases:
- A specialist role where you know only a limited number of candidates exist
- A confidential role where you don't want the whole industry to know what you are doing
- A poor brand image where you would like to communicate a positive image to the marketplace
- A vacancy when you have to work tight timescales
These are a few examples but the list could go on.
A retained assignment involves a commitment of part of the fee upfront. Your role then becomes our main priority and focus.
There are a multitude of scenarios where a retained campaign using either search, advertising or a combination of both will be the best way forward. At Career Moves Group, retained campaigns are no more expensive than our contingency service as we value the exclusivity and buy in from our recruitment partners. A retained campaign gives you access to all our contingency methodology and lot a more besides, the only thing that changes for you is how that cost is structured. We will work closely with all parties to ensure the cost is structured to suit your requirements.
Search or headhunting can be the most effective way of targeting and selecting the best candidates in the marketplace. This might be because you require a specialist skill set, you need a lot of similar people at the same time, or it might be because the role is in a challenging location. Whatever the reason, expert knowledge of a sector is crucial, as is an extensive network and the discretion of the consultant handling those key positions. Career Moves Group can help.
