Are you an expert in the writing field? Do you have editorial product experience? Our Client is a leading global online retailer - a fantastic brand to work for with the strategy to build a place where people can go to find anything they might want to buy online.
Within this role you will be responsible for all editorial/merchandising in a specific area of the Web site. The role is a combination of editorial and marketing, with the goal of increasing traffic and sales through compelling, commercial content.
You will keep your area of the Web site up to date with relevant, informative and exciting content;
managing customer email programs;
evaluating traffic and sales data to improve the effectiveness of your content;
developing new promotional opportunities and initiating and managing Web site improvement projects.
You’ll also need enthusiasm for the product area and strong planning skills for arranging marketing plans with vendors.
You will need to be creative, detail-oriented and organised, with a strong sense of ownership. Excellent written English and high computer literacy is essential. You will be a quick learner, good at thinking on your feet and making smart decisions. You will be an expert communicator, and be able to represent our client at high-profile external meetings. Previous experience in a related job or project would be an advantage.
