Career Academies
is a national initiative where young people are given the skills and advice needed to prepare them for the working world.
A lot of young people don’t know what they want to do. If they do, they often don’t know how to pursue it. It is amazing how a little bit of interest and a little bit of help can inspire someone to pursue that dream and get these very bright minds engaged within the media industry. It is not an overstatement that this initiative can literally change peoples’ lives.
We do our part by looking locally. Working in partnership with a local school, we take young people through all the skills they will need when looking for a job, and in the workplace. From writing a CV, to identifying opportunities, interviewing and office behaviour, we prepare our young candidates and help them get the most of their work placements. In return, employers get extremely switched on and engaging interns.
