career moves group is an established recruitment consultancy that has been in action for over 25 years.

We consist of five specialist teams that focus on delivering top tier talent within:

Human Resources, PR & Communications, Support & Secretarial, Finance, Marketing, Broadcast & Digital.

As part of our ongoing commitment to our clients and the people that make them tick, we have recently launched HD Learning – a newly developed training offering that delivers impactful sessions, in 90 minutes. The training sessions cover a range of areas such as: productivity and time management, business development, reducing and managing conflict, team dynamics and building trust.

Meet our team

Caroline Foote

Managing Director, Career Moves Group

After leaving University, Caroline moved to London and started working for The Observer Newspaper, but the plan was always to launch a recruitment consultancy. Together with a business partner (who attended University with Caroline and who was already working in recruitment), she launched career moves in 1987.

Since then the company has gone from strength to strength and rebranded as career moves group. career moves group is a top rated recruitment consultancy, dealing in four main areas: PR, HR, Specialist Media and Secretarial Support.

Caroline has acted as an inspiration to employees, candidates and clients by attaining an MSc in Organisational Behaviour and IIP status for career moves group – re-accredited in December 2010. This was achieved with ease due to learning and development being embedded in the company’s culture.

In her role as Managing Director of career moves group, Caroline supports all divisions and is passionate about the future of the company and its employees. She also heads up the recruitment of senior HR vacancies for hr moves and is always there in an advisory role to companies who need recruitment advice.

In terms of keeping abreast of latest developments in legislation and market trends Caroline is a member of several networking groups, which helps career moves group keep ahead of its competitors in its sector. Caroline also worked on a consultancy basis for one of cmg’s major clients, and was responsible for putting in place best practice recruitment methods and a pioneering diversity project.

Overall she is dedicated to the development of the company and takes great pride in what career moves group delivers as an organisation.

Sheryll Karpel

Head of HD Learning

Sheryll is well known for her insightful and energetic pursuit of talent acquisition to build fantastic HR teams in Media/FMCG and telecoms and is recognised for her development and training of outstanding recruitment talent.

Leading career moves group added value programmes as Chair on a Local Advisory Board for Careers Academy and being part of the BITC work inspiration programme has meant that Sheryll has become part of really interesting and extensive business networks.

As part of her passionate commitment to people development, Sheryll has created a leadership/mentoring programme at career moves group and uses all the HD learning concentrated learning techniques to keep people reaching their full potential.

Her mission is to engage and develop the talent that the career moves group team find for all the organisations we partner.

Richard Watson

Head of Media Moves

Rich recruits for our music and publishing clients and joined us from Macmillan Publishers, where he was placed by Career Moves 6 years ago.

Specialising in recruiting for Marketing, Digital, Brands, Sync, Editorial, Production, Licensing, Royalties and Copyright positions, Rich works on vacancies at all levels across Music & Publishing – two areas which he has a genuine passion for.

Rich has worked for a diverse range of clients over the last 6 years and his skills lie in successfully fulfilling a wide variety of specialist briefs, as well as ensuring his candidate and client base receive a 1st class service.

Sarah Savage

Interim Head of Career Moves

Sarah Savage is a dedicated and experienced recruiter with expertise in permanent, temporary and contract recruitment processes. Since April 2007 Sarah has worked as part of the Career Moves Group team, recruiting first class support professionals such as Executive Assistants, Facilities Manager’s, Office Managers, PA’s, Legal and Finance PA’s, Team Assistants and Administrators, in some of the most well known organisations. Sarah can facilitate large scale recruitment projects with AWR implications as well as reach out to connect with the passive market. Sarah works hard to ensure that matching our clients and candidates needs is a friendly, professional experience.

Eleanor Karadimitriadis

Head of PR Moves

Eleanor has been working in the media industry for nearly nine years now, six of which have been with PR Moves. During this time she has had the opportunity to work with a number of exciting clients and candidates, from both in-house PR teams and PR agencies.

Initially starting her career in publishing – working for DMGT – Eleanor had the opportunity to hone her knowledge of the media before joining a boutique PR agency where she worked on campaigns for consumer brands such as Boots and Sainsbury’s.

Eleanor has a broad knowledge of PR & Communications as a discipline and an even better awareness of the different players that operate in the industry. She prides herself on being able to offer proper consultation to candidates and clients alike.

Ben Coupland

Senior Account Manager

Ben is Media Moves’ resident Finance expert and specialises in recruitment for Accountancy & Finance roles across all areas of the media industry.

He has a 6 year background in the industry, working on specialist recruitment in several sectors before joining the Career Moves team in early 2010.

Tom Simons

Head of HR Moves

Tom has been working in the creative recruitment space for over 6 years, 4 of which have been with HR Moves. Recruiting across the board from Assistant through to Director and covering all the specialist areas spanning ER, L&D, Talent, Recruitment and Reward / C&B, Tom has built a strong and effective network across the media industry.

Outside of HR Moves, Tom did a 15 month stint at Major Players where he recruited digital account handlers into all of the leading ATL, integrated and pure play agencies. Working within this market enabled Tom to develop his understanding of the creative agency world and further expand his HR network.

Confident tackling the full HR spectrum and focused on delivering a first class service to his clients and candidates alike, Tom continues to build a strong name for himself across the industry.
