• Caroline Foote Managing Director, Career Moves Group

  After leaving University, Caroline moved to London and started working for The Observer Newspaper, but the plan was always to launch a recruitment consultancy. Together with a business partner (who attended University with Caroline and who was already working in recruitment), she launched career moves in 1987.

  
  

  Since then the company has gone from strength to strength and rebranded as career moves group. career moves group is a top rated recruitment consultancy, dealing in four main areas: PR, HR, Specialist Media and Secretarial Support.

  
  

  Caroline has acted as an inspiration to employees, candidates and clients by attaining an MSc in Organisational Behaviour and IIP status for career moves group – re-accredited in December 2010. This was achieved with ease due to learning and development being embedded in the company’s culture.

  
  

  In her role as Managing Director of career moves group, Caroline supports all divisions and is passionate about the future of the company and its employees. She also heads up the recruitment of senior HR vacancies for hr moves and is always there in an advisory role to companies who need recruitment advice.

  
  

  In terms of keeping abreast of latest developments in legislation and market trends Caroline is a member of several networking groups, which helps career moves group keep ahead of its competitors in its sector. Caroline also worked on a consultancy basis for one of cmg’s major clients, and was responsible for putting in place best practice recruitment methods and a pioneering diversity project.

• Sheryll Karpel Head of HR Moves

  Sheryll is Head of HR Moves and specialises in the recruitment of Senior HR Professionals both in the generalist and specialist arenas. Through her extensive knowledge of the following media sectors – Media/ Creative (including Advertising, PR, Communications, Branding, Broadcast, Digital), FMCG and TelCo’s , she has an extensive network built through a strong reputation for championing Clients and Candidates alike.

  Having been with Career Moves Group since its conception Sheryll’s knowledge base is second to none and has been used on many occasions in a consultancy capacity by HR Directors to help redefine and restructure their teams.

  Rich recruits for our music and publishing clients and joined us from Macmillan Publishers, where he was placed by Career Moves 6 years ago.

  Specialising in recruiting for Marketing, Digital, Brands, Sync, Editorial, Production, Licensing, Royalties and Copyright positions, Rich works on vacancies at all levels across Music & Publishing – two areas which he has a genuine passion for.

• Eleanor Karadimitriadis Head of PR Moves

  Eleanor has been working in the media industry for nearly seven years now, three of which have been with PR Moves. During this time she has had the opportunity to work with a number of exciting clients and candidates, from both in-house PR teams and PR agencies.

  Initially starting her career in publishing – working for DMGT – Eleanor had the opportunity to hone her knowledge of the media before joining a boutique PR agency where she worked on campaigns for consumer brands such as Boots and Sainsbury’s.

  Eleanor has a broad knowledge of PR & Communications as a discipline and an even better awareness of the different players that operate in the industry. She prides herself on being able to offer proper consultation to candidates and clients alike.

• Kelly Howe Head of Career Moves

  Kelly specialises in recruitment for TV/Film companies, all the major Broadcasters as well as media/advertising/digital agencies. She recruits the most junior through to the most senior candidates that work in a support capacity within these industries, including; Receptionists, Team Secretaries/Coord/Admins, PAs, Senior PAs, Executive Assistants, Lega/Fianace PAs/Admins, Office Managers, Facilities’ Asst-Managers, Post Room and Data Entry Assistants. Kelly recruits for all permanent/contract/temp to perm positions within these areas.

  She has worked at CMG since 1999, including a recent 3 year sojourn when she completed a BSc in Sustainable Land Management. Kelly has been back with us since summer 2010 and is actively involved with all of our CSR initiatives/programs.

  Ben is Media Moves’ resident Finance expert and specialises in recruitment for Accountancy & Finance roles across all areas of the media industry.

  He has a 6 year background in the industry, working on specialist recruitment in several sectors before joining the Career Moves team in early 2010.

• Tom Simons Senior Account Manager

  Tom has been working in the creative recruitment space for over 6 years, 4 of which have been with HR Moves. Recruiting across the board from Assistant through to Director and covering all the specialist areas spanning ER, L&D, Talent, Recruitment and Reward / C&B, Tom has built a strong and effective network across the media industry.

  Outside of HR Moves, Tom did a 15 month stint at Major Players where he recruited digital account handlers into all of the leading ATL, integrated and pure play agencies. Working within this market enabled Tom to develop his understanding of the creative agency world and further expand his HR network.
